Physical asset officer

The Central Vault officer is responsible for the management, security and operations of the precious metals vault and physical certificates including security and traceability of all assets entering and leaving the vault.

Main responsibilities

Ensure physical delivery to Relationship manager and Clients
Handling receipts and deliveries of physical securities and metals
Maintain required levels of precious metal available in the vault
Maintains internal procedures up-to-date in regards with the security and regulations of the Bank’s vault.
Performs inventory maintenance, verification and accounting entries with reconciliation department
Performs, confirms and maintains banking insurances according to the vault valuation.

Vous disposez d'une formation juridique en droit suisse et vous êtes titulaire d'un brevet d'avocat suisse.
Vous avez un intérêt marqué pour le droit des services et des marchés financiers, en particulier pour les aspects liés au droit contractuel et réglementaire en relation avec la gestion d'actifs pour des clients institutionnels (Asset Management), le domaine des valeurs mobilières ou des placements immobiliers tout comme pour le droit des sociétés, y compris toutes les relations avec des autorités de surveillance en Suisse tant au niveau des instituts que produits financiers (dérivés, produits structurés, placements collectifs, fondations d'investissement, cotation en bourse, etc.).
Vous êtes également intéressé.e aux développements liés aux actifs digitaux ou aux plateformes digitales en matière d'offre de produits et de services financiers qui caractérisent le marché des investisseurs institutionnels.

Your role

Ensure that all the ongoing due diligence as well as ad hoc requests from the fund and private asset counterparties are answered timely and properly.
Provide AML/KYC and QI/FATCA information to counterparties.
Ensure a timely and professional coordination with external stakeholders.
Liaise internally timely and efficiently with front officers, other operational teams, tax and legal advisors.
Contributing actively to the projects and the optimization of our activities.
