Reporting to the Global Head of CHESS & Social Responsibility, the Global Industrial & Behavioural Health & Safety (H&S) Lead is a member of the Global CHESS & Social Responsibility Leadership Team with collective responsibility to define and execute a CHESS & Social Responsibility strategy.

Individually this role will be the leading expert in the field of Industrial and behavioural H&S across Trafigura, its subsidiaries, divisions, Joint ventures and value chains.
Accountable for the development, implementation and continuous improvement of an Industrial/behavioural Health & Safety Management programme. This includes supporting Trafigura teams & sites globally in industrial / behavioural health & safety execution and implementing new safety thinking to enhance the voice of the frontline in health & safety performance.

The role works across subsidiary, division and facility HSSE professionals and Leadership teams.
Industrial safety in Trafigura covers:
• Mining
• Metals processing & production
• Petroleum & new fuels (methanol, hydrogen, ammonia) processing, production, storage & logistics
• Construction and structural health & safety (including temporary installations)
• Rail operations and infrastructure management
• Vessel Operations covering Marine, fuelling and barging

We are seeking a Specialist Flex Developer to be responsible for the overall integration of the Murex trading platform. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with the Murex Flex module and a strong background in quantitative finance and programming. This role will involve integrating new product types, implementing relevant pricing models, and ensuring seamless integration with various systems and reports.

Technical Skills:

• Strong understanding of stochastic processes and option valuation models.
• Proficiency in low-level programming languages such as C++ and Java.
• Experience with the Murex scripting environment.
• Deep knowledge of Murex APIs and integration techniques.

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Developer to join our Risk IT function. This role will play a crucial part in developing and maintaining our risk management systems and infrastructure, primarily hosted on the cloud. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial products, risk management data sets, and practical experience with cloud services and most recent big data related technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain risk management applications and tools on cloud infrastructure.
• Implement and optimise models for evaluating financial products and their associated risks (Greeks, P&L, VaR, stress tests, scenarios, etc.).
• Enhance data quality and ensure the integrity of market risk, credit risk, and liquidity risk datasets.
• Develop high-quality code in Python, R, and C++/Java to support various risk management functions.
• Collaborate effectively with risk management teams, traders, and front office IT teams to understand their needs and deliver robust solutions.
• Take ownership of the data quality delivered, ensuring accuracy and reliability in all risk management processes.
• Utilize Jira, Kanban, Scrum, and other agile methodologies to organize and manage delivery processes within the team.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in cloud services and financial risk management practices.
